Hhhhmmmm....  Could that be Billy Graham?  You betcha!

Before embarking on his lifetime of service to The Lord, Billy attended church and was baptized right here in Palatka...in Silver Lake Pond.  Soon after, he gave his first sermon here at Peniel Baptist Church.  And, as they say, "The rest is history."

Billy has many fond memories of living here in Palatka.  He shared those memories with those of us on The Conlee Mural Committee when he came to visit to see the mural we have dedicated to him.

What's this, you ask?  One of the things we love about Muralist Terry Smith is that he always tucks a bit of whimsy into his murals.  On this particular mural, he painted this tiny mousey peeking out from behind the left porch post of the church.
