Without a doubt, one of our more colorful murals...

The farmland in Putnam County is perfect for growing potatoes and cabbages, as is evidenced by the farms in and around Hastings, Florida.  Started as "kitchen gardens" for the fancy hotel restaurants in St. Augustine, these crops flourished in our rich soil.

Senator Pearce, a driving force in the agrarian economy is depicted here, a tribute to his contributions to our history.
